UQ Sport is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the promotion of sport, physical recreation and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle within the University and broader national and international communities.
The UQ Tennis Centre is one of the premier tennis facilities in Queensland encouraging community participation through fixtures, coaching programs and general court hire as well as hosting tournaments. This facility boasts 2 synthetic grass courts, 5 Plexicushion courts, and 14 Synpave hard courts, a pro-shop and café.
UQ Sport is seeking qualified and experienced tennis coaches. You will work with the Head Coach to implement and deliver innovative coaching programs focused on participation within the community at all levels, from junior through to adult and elite programming.
We aim to provide a consistent roster for casual coaches where possible, and are particularly seeking coaches with experience specific to junior, adult and/or elite programs to coordinate these programs in conjunction with our Head Coach.
Candidates should possess a passion for the game of tennis, from coaching through to growing the UQ Tennis Centre as a tennis destination. In addition, you will have experience coaching tennis, possess a minimum of a TA Junior Development Coach Qualification or equivalent, a current Apply First Aid & CPR qualifications and a Working with Children Check.
