In 1990, The University of Queensland (UQ)—through the partnership of Alumni Friends of The University of Queensland Inc and UQ Sport—began offering sporting scholarships with the aim of assisting outstanding UQ athletes to balance their studies with the demands of elite-level sport.
2013 Sporting Scholarships are open from August 1 to October 31.
