Junior tournaments

At the UQ Tennis Centre, children are given plenty of opportunities to gain valuable match play experience, through a variety of junior tournaments that are offered throughout the year.

Through tournaments such as the regular MLC Hot Shots Challenge Circuits and the annual HEAD Junior Tennis Championships, tennis players of all ages and abilities are able to enjoy the fun, challenge and excitement of a competition-based environment while further developing their tennis skills.

MLC Hot Shots Challenge Circuits

The MLC Tennis Hot Shots Challenge provides children under 12 years of age with the perfect introduction to playing tennis in a fun, encouraging and non-threatening match environment. Find out more about the MLC Hot Shots Challenge Circuit.

Junior Tennis Championships

The annual Junior Tennis Championships is part of the Optus Junior Bronze Series, enabling entrants in the 12, 14 and 16 age groups to earn ranking points for their performance in the tournament.  Plus, there’s over $2000 in prizes to be won. Find out more about the 2011 Junior Tennis Championships.
