UQ Sport First Aid and CPR courses |

The Apply First Aid & CPR series is a must for all industry professionals and community individuals who need to maintain their first aid qualifications, or want to learn these important life skills.
Courses are run by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO): PulseStart Training Solutions. All courses are nationally recognised under the National Health Training Package HLT07.

Apply First Aid (formerly Senior First Aid)

You will learn:
- how to deal with everyday emergency situations on completion of this comprehensive yet simple course.
- how to manage sick or injured persons using the principles of basic first aid.
You will gain:
- a minimum qualification required by workplace health and safety legislation for the workplace first aider.
- a qualification that includes all Perform CPR HLTCPR201A competencies.
- a qualification that will be valid for three years, however annual Perform CPR refreshers are required annually to maintain this accreditation.

You will learn:
- the knowledge and skills required to maintain life in an unconscious casualty until medical help arrives.
You will gain:
- a nationally accredited Perform CPR qualification.
- a qualification that is valid for one year.
- an Apply First Aid accreditation that is valid for its second and third year duration.
Please note: The Perform CPR course is offered in conjunction with the Apply First Aid course.
