(i) Property Protection Policy
Policy applies to all Club Equipment (excluding boats which are specifically covered under separate Marine Hull insurance). Excess levels apply to all claims and the cover excludes Club Equipment of which UQ Sport has not been specifically advised and/or which is member’s personal property.
(ii) Personal Injury
Policy applies to all members of the Club whilst engaged in an appropriate authorised club activity. Claim payment limits are linked to the out of pocket costs incurred and/or a specific schedule of compensation which may apply based on the accident.
(iii) Director and Officers Liability Protection Policy
Protection is provided to the office bearers of the Club against any claim made against them (individually or collectively) arising out of their conduct as an office bearer. Claims are limited to $5m for any one claim and to $5m in aggregate
(iv) General & Products Liability & Professional Liability Protections Policy
Protection is provided for activities undertaken by the Club in furtherance of its Objects only and covers liabilities arising from personal injury (including death) and property damage. Claims are limited to $20 million for any one occurrence.
(v) Marine Hull
Provides cover to affiliated Water Sport and recreation clubs for loss of or damage to boats and its accessories caused by accident, hidden defect, malicious damage and theft and Cover for salvage and wreck removal. This insurance cover will cover the boat whilst in the water, out of the water and in storage. This includes whilst the boat is on a trailer that is stationary and not attached to a motor vehicle.
