The University of Queensland Boat Club caters for beginners; intermediate and high performance level male and female rowers.

The club maintains a large fleet of boats (1x, 2-, 2x, 4-, 4+, 4x, 8+), which are all located at the Eric Freeman Boathouse on Sir William MacGregor Drive and are readily accessible after becoming a member.

The University of Queensland has a proud sporting tradition with an outstanding array of high performance athletes consistently emerging in a range of sports. Over the past ten years the sport of Rowing has produced more Olympic athletes at this University than any other sport. UQBC has a long-standing history of success at all levels of rowing State, National, and International.
 
UQBC is renowned for its depth and size in Queensland, particularly for offering a broad range of programs, catering to all levels of rowing, High Performance Male and Female, Junior, Development, Social, Veteran & Master, Learn to Row, Boathouse Rowing and College Rowing. This depth has enabled UQBC to become the Premier club within Queensland for the past two years.
 
The club also hosts a Corporate Rowing event annual (REGATTAFEST), which allow Brisbane's corporate companies to participate in rowing and most importantly have some fun.
