UQ Sport Ltd is a not for profit organisation wholly owned by the University of Queensland, and was established in 1911 as "The University of Queensland Sports and Physical Recreation Association".
Since then UQ Sport has developed into a passionate and vibrant organisation that specialises in sport facility management.
UQ Sport embraces the underlying principle that sport and physical activity can play a significant part in the development of the social and cultural life at the University of Queensland.
Our vision is to create communities built on active minds and healthy bodies.
By creating equality for everyone and engaging with them in a respectful, honest and transparent manner, UQ Sport hopes to nurture the health and wellbeing of everyone associated with UQ, both past and present.
